3D Environments

I create environment assets most of the time during projects. I aspire to become a great 3D environment artist in the future and I will try to learn new things as I keep making more and more environments.

3D Models

I love making props as well. Especially when I can put a nice amount of detailing in it. Props also make for good practice before starting on something big. 

Concept Art

I create Concept art before I go full production mode. I always visualize my ideas as fast as I can to either explain to others or just as a reference while 3D modeling.

Graphic Design

I studied Interaction design before I started on creating 3D art. I still create the occasional graphics which you can find in my portfolio.

Project Highlight: Acronis

Acronis was a project of mine together with a game designer called Laura Bastiaanse. Our main goal during this project was to learn how to create a Multiplayer FPS map. Now this was a real challenge for me as I had to provide all the art for this project. And it was a fairly big map as you will see. But overall I am happy with its results. I should note that we did none of the programming work as we made use of the Unity FPS Sample so that we could focus on actually creating the environment.

About Sander

I am Sander, A graduated interaction design student and am now close to graduating on Game Art too. My main goal is to become a great 3D environment artist in the game industry. So in this portfolio you will see a big focus on that.
